Do you have a bucket list? I always thought of them as very personal… things for just you. And they certainly can be.

But a few years ago, my sweet daughter Makayla made a mother/daughter bucket list for us and gave it to me in a beautiful journal. It was such a sweet gift and meant so much to me.

Our to-do bucket list items included all kinds of things from cooking together, traveling, and a spa day together. So fast forward a few years we finally made the spa day happen! 💕

I know we have a few months to Mothers Day… but just a thought to keep in mind for a gift idea! #motherdaughterbucketlist

Thinking about International Women’s Day… and

Thinking about International Women’s Day… and reminded me of the last time I was in Wyoming and what I learned… The last time I was there I learned an interesting fact.... ⠀

Back in 1869, Wyoming passed the first unconditional law in the U.S. permanently guaranteeing women their inherent right to vote and hold office. (Yay! Wyoming!) But here’s the crazy part... it took a full 50 years before women in the rest of the nation were guaranteed this same right!

This morning this was a reminder to me that things don’t always progress as fast as we’d like them to. It’s frustrating. I’m always trying to rush my progress. ⠀

So, I’m reminding myself today that God’s timing is perfect and his presence is constant. We can’t rush things. Find peace and joy in today! 💛 #internationalwomensday

Happy New Year! I bet many of you are still looking for New Years resolutions… so how about this!

Join me and my friend @amyjameshafner to study the Bible this year! She has created a wonderful study journal set called @soar.journal that you can use to study the Bible this year!

Last year around this time I made the decision for the first time to read the entire Bible in a year…. And I am so glad I did.

2022 is the year for change on the inside so you can SOAR on the outside! ❤️

And… here’s a few tips I learned from reading the Bible in year…

*The @soar.journal are so helpful to help you process and learn! You can order at SoarStudyJournal.com and join us still!! This is a great time to start :)

*Don’t be intimidated to start reading… yes there will be parts that are overwhelming, but you will learn so much and grow.

* Use a study Bible or better yet… my new favorite The Filament Bible! It comes with a free app with great videos about what you’re reading about, study notes, etc.
