Clean beauty options, alternatives to botox and maintaining a positive body image are all important aspects of taking care of ourselves both inside and out. The beauty industry is constantly evolving, and with that comes new products and treatments that are supposed to make us look and feel our best. But with so many options out there, it can be hard to know which ones are truly safe and effective.
That’s why I brought my friend Jenna from JUSTASKJENNALEIGH on for this episode to have a little girl talk about all these things on this podcast episode of “Conversations with Sara”. You can listen to the full episode here!
One of the most important things to consider when it comes to beauty is the ingredients in the products we use. Clean beauty products are made with natural and non-toxic ingredients, which means they are less likely to harm our bodies or the environment. This is especially important when it comes to skincare products, as our skin is our largest organ and absorbs everything we put on it. By choosing clean beauty options, we are taking a step towards protecting our health and well-being.
Another aspect of beauty that has become increasingly popular is Botox and other injectables. While these treatments can be effective for smoothing wrinkles and fine lines, they come with their own set of risks and side effects. Alternatives to Botox, such as natural skincare products that promote collagen production or non-invasive facials, can be just as effective in improving our skin’s appearance without the potential risks.
Finally, it’s important to remember that true beauty comes from within. Positive body image is essential for our overall well-being, as it can affect our self-esteem, mental health, and relationships. A positive body image means accepting and loving ourselves for who we are, regardless of our size, shape, or imperfections. This doesn’t mean we should not strive to improve ourselves but rather to focus on the things that make us unique and special.
By choosing products that are safe, natural, and effective, and by focusing on our inner well-being, we can look and feel our best in a healthy and sustainable way.
TIP: Use the EWG app to scan and find out more about the products you’re using! I try to stay in the 1-3 range for most products.
